Jochen Siebenrock – to be exact.

We know this guy since the early 80ies. This was the time when we were messing around with nothing but fast cars and motorcycles. (And spending most of our money on that). Jochen Siebenrock was one of the clever guys who made a profession out of his hobby already at that stage. In 1984 he started selling used parts for BMW motorbikes to friends and friends of friends. Initially to fund his own hobby and later to establish a small side job to his work as an architect. Seven years later, he quit his job, founded a small company with 2 employees and created what is known today as a synonym for competence and experience in BMW’s classic 2-valve flat twins: The ‘Original Siebenrock Product’.

So far so good – simply another success story. But this is not the end. The story continues – and it continues with Power!

In 2004 Jochen Siebenrock created the ultimate power package for 2V flat-twin engines: The famous “Big Bore-Kit”! Last summer we had the chance to test the kit in Wendlingen extensivly. It rides simply impressive and generates a certain form of addiction.

1.070 cc, genuine 78 horse power and a torque exceeding 92 Nm for every 1.000 cc flat twin from 1981 on. Siebenrock’s Big Bore-Kit eclipses everything hitherto existing in 2-valve street legal flat twins. This kit impressively proves what really can be realized in terms of power for 2-valve flat twins.
